Isabel Barrote - Researcher

Isabel graduated in Agronomy and during two years worked for the Regional Bureau of the Agriculture and Sea Ministry (Algarve). In 1991 began her lecturer career at University of Algarve where currently is Assistant Professor of Plant Physiology; in 2005 completed her PhD thesis (University of Algarve) on Plant Physiology focused on plant stress responses; in 2006 began the collaboration with the Algae Group, which she ended joining in 2014, working mostly on seagrass and macroalgae ecophysiology.
